On Polyandry

Why is polyandry (the taking up of two or more husbands by a woman) so rare? Some cultures have even outright forbid it and denounced it.

Whatever. This mythical figure in my legendarium is going to have twelve husbands at the same time. Why should the line have to come from the father? Let the lady created her own legacy as she sees fit.

Because, from a strictly baby-making point of view, you can make more with one penis and twelve wombs than with one womb and twelve penises.

Also, #And listening to Therion:

I know. :) I guess…I don’t know…maybe it’s the whole rareness of it that appeals to me. I mean, why not? Besides, I sometimes like to imagine I have many husbands. Bees practice this, hahahaha!

Do you like Therion? Their music is very inspiring! :)
